From Kathy Ireland's 2Be Bridal collection, this darling gown has it all!
The straight neckline (with removable straps) is directionally pleated from bust down the bodice, ending in an angle on the hip. There's a delicate floral and flower accent at this point and the dress hugs your torso to give it a perfect shape.
The inside has a elastic and hook to hold it to your waist, along with an internal corset that hooks from top to bottom. This saves you money on a separate corset, and gives you an amazing shape once the gown is zipped up.
The ball gown skirt drapes softly to the ground, with three more floral and feathered accents, picking up the skirt, catching the light as you move. There's one accent on the back train, and when bustled, this becomes a focal point of the rear of the gown.
With the addition of another crinoline under the skirt, it becomes a larger, flowing ball gown, fit for a princess.
Available in a silk shantung (shown), in white, or natural ivory, this gown is also available in a crinkle taffeta in white, ivory or spun gold.
In either fabric, the chapel-length train is perfect for indoor or outdoor weddings as it's not too long and bustles easily.
Available in sizes 2-20, this gown is in store at Paper Doll Formals, the only place on Vancouver Island you can see and try on this lovely gown.
The price point for the silk shantung gown (in store) is surprisingly affordable, making the taffeta choice an easy one for the budget-conscious bride.
Come in soon to see this beautiful gown and try it on as your 'ball gown silhouette' when trying on wedding gowns during your search.
